Introducing our NEW Virtual Programs for Dance Technique!

Updated: Dec 10, 2021

I am so happy to announce our newest online training programs!

"Give Your Turns A Tune-Up" and "How To Boost Your Jump Height" are officially open for enrollment.

One of BodyKinect's missions is to provide accessible dance science education to dancers of all ages. Some dancers are far from dance specialists in their country. Some dancers don't have access to a dance specialist at all. Some dancers could be self-taught, and others may be at their dance studio every day.

For the dancers who want to develop their dance technique, strengthen their bodies, and learn more about cross-training, THIS is the answer.

What's Included in Each Program?

  1. 2 workouts released each week

  2. Videos and tips for each exercise

  3. Access to the group page where you can cheer on other dancers in the program

  4. Monthly drop-in live group sessions so you can practice your technique

  5. Easy login for the BodyKinect app to log your workouts wherever you are in the world

And we've released 2 new programs right from the start. One for turns and one for jumps. Here's a bit more information about each one:

Every week, you'll get a new set of workouts specifically designed to help you increase core stability, glute strength, back strength, and pirouette alignment. You'll be feeling stronger and more confident in your turns practice when you progress through this program.

The workouts are completely on your own time. A new workout is released every Monday and Thursday. This program is designed for intermediate level dancers, but beginners can greatly benefit from these exercises as well.

Calling all those dancers who want to practice their jumps!

If you're struggling with jumps, or your teacher tells you to jump higher... this is the bootcamp for you! A 12-week program designed specifically to help you increase jump height and prevent injury. You'll receive 2 workouts per week, and you'll slowly progress from stability training to power training!

The workouts are completely on your own time. A new workout is released every Monday and Thursday. This program is designed for intermediate level dancers, but beginners can greatly benefit from these exercises as well.

Do I Need Special Equipment?

There are a few things that we recommend having with you for the program:

  1. Resistance bands (light, medium, and heavy)

  2. Light/Medium/Heavy Dumbbells or Kettlebells (highly recommended)

  3. Yoga blocks or books

  4. Chair or bench

  5. Floor space and/or a yoga mat

These programs will be a GREAT fit for you if ...

  1. You are a dancer who loves technique training

  2. You are a self-driven learner

  3. You want to practice your technique

  4. You have a busy schedule

  5. You aren't sure where to start

When you enroll, you'll get access to the BodyKinect App:

Once you enroll in a virtual program, you'll get access to our online portal AND our new BodyKinect app! With this app, you can log your workouts from anywhere in the world. View your workouts, track your progress, and get the most out of your program straight from your phone. Available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
